The factory, which is part of the Georgsmarienhütte group of companies, is taking into account developments that have taken place over the past few years.
The main focus in the product structure is now on manufacturing blanks that have been cut using a laser, plasma, water jet or shears, special profiles and metal sheeting where the surface has already been treated.
The company will continue to trade in sheet metal and heavy plate made of steel that resists rust, acid and heat.

No other changes in the product structure are linked to the company’s change of name.
The name Edelstahl Service Center Burg GmbH better reflects the company’s business orientation and underlines the market requirements that the company aims to meet in future.
